Hibiscus Medical is proudly Black and immigrant-owned. Our founder and physician, Debralee Frederick, MD, lives in the neighborhood in which she practices medicine. Locally-owned, independent medical practices can offer more personalized care than corporate chains, and Dr. Frederick aims to build lasting relationships with each patient that walks through our doors. Hibiscus Medical is conveniently located at 430 Galloway St NE, Suite A, Washington, D.C. 20011 near South Dakota Avenue. Our office is easily reachable via metro, bus or car. Excellent medical care is now just minutes away from your home, work or school! We are open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and same-day sick visits are available.
Board Certified Doctor
Debralee Frederick, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has experience in both internal and hospital medicine. Board certification demonstrates a doctor’s skills, expertise and dedication to the highest quality of care. Dr. Frederick has been board certified since 2014, providing patients with top-notch expertise and care.

Between work, school and other obligations, we understand that you have a busy schedule. Coupled with the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be difficult to make time for an in-person appointment. That’s why we offer telehealth appointments so our patients can enjoy the same, high-quality medical care from the comfort of their homes!
