Dr. Debralee Frederick is the founder and Internal Medicine physician here at Hibiscus Medical in Northeast Washington, D.C. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Frederick moved to the United States at age 14 and attended both high school and college in Brooklyn, NY. She received her M.D. from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals. Dr. Frederick is grateful for the opportunity to serve her community and get to know her patients on a personal level. As a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, Dr. Frederick believes that everyone is deserving of high-quality medical care, regardless of socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identification, race, nationality, physical and mental ability, religion or political views.
